This online training provides an understanding of the Residential Family Centres National Minimum Standards and the underpinning statutory regulations as stipulated in The Residential Family Centres (Amendment) Regulations 2013, The Residential Family Centres Regulations 2002, and Care Standards Act 2000. It will be helpful for managers and staff working in residential family centres. Easy to navigate modules guide the Learner through the structure and main points of the standards.  The course includes assessment questions.  The course is designed to be straight to the point, informative and practical.  It will improve the Learner’s understanding of the National Minimum Standards and their underpinning legislation in practice and is a must for any new staff Induction programme.

It sets out how the Regulator applies the principles and processes of all their inspections, the statutory basis for inspection, how they will make their judgements and a summary of the main features of the inspection process.
